Mazin is an experienced private equity and venture capital investor. He maintains a portfolio of innovative and disruptive technology investments, and manages a venture capital fund pursuing early-stage growth investments across North America and the Middle East. Previously, Mazin served as an investment manager, overseeing private equity portfolios for a Middle East sovereign wealth fund and a State owned investment fund.

Mazin holds an Executive Degree (Private Equity and Venture Capital) from Harvard University, a Master of Science, International Business Management and Entrepreneurship (MSc) from Kingston University and a Bachelor of Business, Management and Entrepreneurship from Bond University.

James is an experienced investor and transactional lawyer, with more than a decade of international private equity, venture capital and M&A experience. He maintains several sports investments and serves as senior legal counsel overseeing a global investment portfolio for a Middle East sovereign wealth fund. He previously served on the sports industry group steering committee of international law firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, regularly advising sovereign, institutional and multinational clients across industries, including sports, media and telecommunications.

James holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) (Honours) from Bond University. He is admitted to practice law as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland, and the Federal and High Courts of Australia.
